Bring it on...
09/08/2007 09:14 PM
Soccer season officially kicked off today. Ha ha, I
made a pun.
Makenzy is playing on a bigger field this year with the U9 girls Diamond Queens under the direction of coaches April and Raymond. For the third year time in four years, Makenzy scored the first goal of the first game. The Diamond Queens played very well and ended the day in a 1-1 tie.
Emily's playing forward on the U14 girls Tidal Wave with coaches Robert, Scott and Dave. Today's game was played late in the afternoon heat. Emily scored the last two goals in the 4-3 win. Great job Emily and the rest of the Tidal Wave girls!

That's right! Emily got the word today that she was
accepted into the People to People Sports

Soccer season is upon us...
08/20/2006 08:46 PM
Both of the girls started soccer again this weekend,
Emily is playing in her 8th year and is playing in
the rec league this season (so no traveling for us)
on the Grapes of Wrath team. She has not been
assigned a permanent position but played half back in
the first game. The Grapes tied their first outing
4-4 but looked impressive.
This is Mak's 4th season playing soccer and is playing on the Blue Angels who lost a close one (2-1)... game 1 pics.

Jaguars Tourney - Galt
12/03/2005 06:29 PM
The Stockton Jaguars played a tournament in Galt this
weekend. Saturday's game was early and brrrrr cold...
it was the closest to sub-zero we get in this area...
the ground was like ice! Sadly, they lost all three
games... but they are now hungry for revenge...
especially since they lost to Turlock and Modesto...
two teams they had never lost to this year! More
tourneys in January in Pleasanton... and they are
itchin' to get back to where there were before... 2nd
place in the Roseville Tournament and 1st in the
Stockton Tournament.
Go Jaguars!
11/19/2005 09:05 PM
The Stockton Jaguars ended their regular season
recently with two impressive wins against Turlock and
Ceres. Now it is tourney time! These girls, some of
who have played together for many years, played very
well this year and we are looking forward to some
tough soccer in December and January. We lost some
pretty tough games but won some really killer games.
We may be biased but Dawn and I think that this team
has the best group of girls in our league. Check out
pictures of the season
here.
Don't
mess with Stockton!
Nice header, Emily!
Way to go Jaguars... and thanks to the coaches... Frank, Fernando and Alberto!!!

Stockton Jaguars - Roseville Invitational
09/04/2005 08:55 PM
The STOCKTON JAGUARS took second place in the Girls
U12 category for this weekend's tournament (the first
tourney of the year for the girls... and the first
games at all). What an amazing time! The girls had a
brutal schedule this weekend with an early game on
Saturday and a long six hour break between the second
and last games. After winning the first game 5-1 and
blanking the second team 3-0 the JAGUARS tied their
third opponent of the weekend but had enough points
to get to play in the championship game today. They
played a tough Roseville team and lost 3-0 but looked
great coming in second place overall! Way to go Emily
and the rest of the STOCKTON JAGUARS!

MHP's
02/21/2004 10:07 PM
That's right...
Stockton's own MHP (Mia Hamm Pups) are kickin' tail
out there. It seems like these girls are
unstoppable. With 3 wins in a row they are
excited and are looking forward to the tourneys
coming up next weekend [2/27/04 -
tourney has been postponed
]. Emily has moved to
the goalie slot along with Jordan and Taylor and
is doing great (1 goal allowed in 2 games... and
it was a penalty shot!). When she's not
playing that spot she usually fills in at
left-wing.
